I just had to get this posted while I had a moment after coming across it on the IFL Science Facebook page.
The video stream below is from a camera mounted on the Internation Space Station (ISS), pointing back towards Earth. The speed with which the ISS is passing around the Earth means that you get to see a sunrise every 45 mins!
Note that sometimes the screen may go blank for all sorts of “space reasons”, but its well worth a look.
This sort of thing really gets me excited about science and technology – to be able to see the world we’re living on, from high above in space is truly inspirational.
