more specifically\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/stores.ebay.co.uk\/digital-store072010\/_i.html?_nkw=nodemcu&amp;submit=Search&amp;_sid=1017542039\">digital_store_2014<\/a>. \u00a0This item comes from Hong Kong but its the official dev board, and super super cheap. \u00a0It takes roughly 12 days to ship using the free shipping option. \u00a0There are fakes out there.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>First grab the latest and greatest LUA firmware:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At the time of writing you should go for this on GitHub:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/nodemcu\/nodemcu-firmware\/releases\/\">nodemcu_float_0.9.6-dev_20150704.bin<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To easily flash the board (with the .bin above):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use\u00a0ESP8266Flasher.exe which you can find on <a href=\"https:\/\/github.com\/nodemcu\/nodemcu-flasher\">GitHub: nodemcu-flasher\u00a0<\/a>&#8211; download the ZIP, and look for:\u00a0nodemcu-flasher-master\\Win64\\Release (or Win32 if you&#8217;re running 32-bit Windows)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Development Environments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/esp8266.ru\/esplorer\/\">ESPlorer <\/a>\u2013 Dedicated Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for ESP8266 developers\u00a0&#8211; I suggest this is the route to take<\/li>\n<li>Using the Arduino IDE to develop:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/learn.adafruit.com\/adafruit-huzzah-esp8266-breakout\/using-arduino-ide\">https:\/\/learn.adafruit.com\/adafruit-huzzah-esp8266-breakout\/using-arduino-ide<\/a>\u00a0&#8211;
